Characteristics/Talents Needed:
In-depth knowledge of Bylaws with respect to application. Tact and diplomacy with a sense of fairness in mediation. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Committee Chairman’s Responsibilities:
Review all complaints from non-members against GRCA members, as well as members against other members. Correspond with complainant and defendant in attempt to help resolve matters amiably. Advise complainant/defendant of options, pursuant to Bylaws. Distribute copies of complaints to committee members for comments and suggestions.
Committee’s Responsibilities:
Review and consider complaints. Consult with committee members in an attempt to promote an amiable settlement between conflicting parties. Consider all complaints as confidential.
